The Aeronautics and Space Science Bureau, in collaboration with Makerere University, hosted the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2023 in Kampala. This global hackathon brings together teams worldwide to use NASA’s open data to tackle issues on Earth and in space. The event, conducted at Makerere University, included a Bootcamp, Hackathon, and Grand Finale. It aimed to gather innovative minds to develop solutions to Earth and space problems, supported by the Bureau for socio-economic benefits.
